Part-time Updates/ Facility Closures

Due to the recent closure mandated by the Provincial Government, the Union is working with HR in regards to the hours for all current active staff. Because this closure is short term in nature, your hours will be significantly reduced or “zeroed” out until the time our facilities are able to reopen.

What does this mean for you? You can still claim Employment Insurance (EI) but must request your Record of Employment (ROE) from HR. You can do so by emailing either your HR representative, or

At this time, this is the most recent information we have available (subject to change) and you shall be receiving additional information from the HR department in the near future.
